About Us

Mission & Vision

  • The Huron Hurricanes Aquatic Club is a non-profit youth swim club for: competitive, recreational, and fitness swimmers. We have been operating in Huron County for over 25 years, training at both the Vanastra Recreation Centre, and the Goderich Maitland Recreation Centre, from September into June.

Who We Are

  • Our dedicated athletes, as young as 6 years of age, travel from across all of Huron County including Exeter, Bayfield, Hensall, Varna, Londesborough, Brussels, Auburn, Goderich, Kincardine, Clinton, Vanastra, Brucefield, Kippen, Blyth, Sarnia, Grand Bend, and Dungannon.  Swimmers train from once a week up to 4 times each week, and attend competitions monthly across South Western Ontario. The sport of swimming is proud to be fully integrated, with a place for able bodied and disabled athletes. Swimming is a life-long sport that builds strength, endurance and great work ethic, in a FUN environment. It is a great way to stay fit and have FUN for life!
